National University is a San Diego-based nonprofit founded in 1971 by retired U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. David Chigos. As the largest private nonprofit university in San Diego, our mission is to provide accessible, achievable higher education to adult learners. Today, we educate students across all 50 states and from 65 countries, offering flexible four-week classes across over 75 on-campus and online programs. Since our founding, we’ve had the honor and privilege of seeing our community grow to over 170,000 alumni worldwide.
