Life Insurance

A Powerful and Simple Way to Support Our Students

People set up life insurance policies all the time. Sometimes it’s to provide financial security to a spouse, or educating children. As you go through life, though, your priorities may change. Your children grow up and get policies of their own. Lots of things can change.

When the original purpose for a life insurance policy no longer applies, your policy can become a powerful and simple way to support learning opportunities for students. There are three ways to give life insurance to National University:

Name NU as a beneficiary of the policy. This gift is as simple as updating your beneficiary designation form with the policy holder. You can designate National University as the primary beneficiary for a percentage or specific amount. You can also make us the contingent beneficiary so that we will receive the balance of your policy only if your primary beneficiary doesn’t survive you.
